The St. Lucia Pitons netball club is a not for profit organization. The club, which is based in Brooklyn New York, was formed in September of 2000, when all the former members of the St. Lucia Foreign Base Netball Team decided to pursue their netball dreams on their own. Thus forming The St. Lucia Pitons Netball Club.

The purpose of this Organization is to promote the voluntary, mutual assistance, enjoyment and entertainment of its members, socially, morally and physically.
The objective of Pitons is to unite all St Lucians living in Tri State area of New York, Connecticut and New Jersey. The representative colors of Pitons are the colors of the St Lucia National Flag (i.e. Blue, gold, black and white).

Though the club is relatively new as the St. Lucia Pitons Netball Club, the group has enjoyed quite a bit of success as a netball team both under The St. Lucia Foreign Base and under it's new name. St. Lucia Pitons Netball Club. In their Five years under Foreign Base the club has won the CANA Championship once and has finished in the top three for all of the other seasons.

Under the St. Lucia Pitons Netball Club, they have been equally successful. In their initial tournament the Club registered one team in CANAS's Winter League and finished in third place. For the Summer League, three teams were registered. The Senior team finished in second place, the Intermediate level one team finished in first place and the Intermediate level two team, which comprised mainly of players who had never played the sport of Netball finished impressively in third place.

In their second year of operation the club registered four teams, with the fourth team being a Junior team which comprised of players from the age of eight through seventeen. This was seen as a move to protect the future of the club. In their second year the club did finish with good results, although it is widely thought that they could have done much better. The Seniors finished in second place, The Inters 1 team finished in a disappointing second place, while the Inters 2 team finished in first place and the Juniors finished in third.
